PAS Intervention:
A Prevention Intervention Program Initiative
for High Conflict Divorce and Hostile Aggressive Parenting
PAS Intervention - Parental Alienation/Psychological Abuse Support and Intervention
Since 1983, Joan has been working with survivors of abuse and in particular psychological abuse related to high conflict divorce where one parent deliberately undermines a loving relationship with the other parent. This form of psychological abuse is called Parental Alienation. PAS Intervention has been officially around since 1997 and formally a Nonprofit since June 2011. For years, she has provided free one-on-one support, 24/7 international online support, email and text messaging support. She has taken all that she has researched, studied, experienced and published it into a book that is now in its 3rd edition called “Where Did I Go Wrong? How Did I Miss The Signs? Dealing with Hostile Aggressive Parenting and Parental Alienation”. She is also co-author on another book, “Broken Family Bonds: Poems and Short Stories from Victims of Parental Alienation”. All revenue from both of these books goes to PAS Intervention, a federal tax-exempt non-profit.
PAS Intervention stands for Parental Alienation and Psychological Abuse Support and Intervention. It is an International Non-profit organization to End Child Abuse and Parental Alienation. We have over 40 chapters around the world. PASI (for short) strives to prevent and intervene in positive ways to stop the destruction of parent-child relationships that are being perpetrated by the other parent, extended family member or an agency. When a person or agency interferes with a healthy parent-child bond, they are actually using psychological abuse. Our goal is to provide Educational Awareness, Training, Education, Support and Resources to preserve families while bringing the professionals who work with them up to speed educational through training and awareness.
Our Mission is to prevent and intervene in the snowball effect of this type of hostile and aggressive parenting that leads to Parental Alienation by Education and Training as many professionals and laypersons as possible. A major part of this organizations work involves online support groups that have been running since 2000 for alienated parents whose relationship with their children is or has been impeded. PAS Intervention seeks to continue to provide FREE services including being able to provide:
1) Free 24/7 online support
2) Providing reduced consulting rates
3) Assisting parents to gain control over their own lives and learn to live HHSS.
4) Provide financial assistance for parents to properly fight for their children's rights and parental rights to have a healthy relationship with both parents
5) Provide financial resources for research and studies
6) Continual providing educational awareness through lectures, webinars, seminars, flyers, billboards, experts and more.
7) Assist in getting legislative regulations developed that will provide the courts, and professionals ways to properly address this type of psychological abuse.
Presently we are trying to raise money so the many other volunteers can continue to provide free online support including research work, studies, financial assistance to members and subscribers as well as keep the 2 International online support groups; PAS-GuardianAngels, PAS2ndWivesClub. Our business Plan is simple and direct. A copy is available upon request.
Our hope is that through federal, state and private grants/funding, the organization will be able to continue to provide free online support along with free expert testimony in court to those who cannot afford it, as well as provide funds for research, legal fees, psychiatric evaluations and the continued expenses in running this organization. Presently, the moderators and owners spend between 40/50 hours week handling support groups work, writing papers, researching documents and attending to members needs. It is a huge expense to keep things running, but we know we must.
We would like to continue to offer these free services to victims of abuse but without monetary funding, it is getting harder and harder. Please consider a donation, annual subscription or purchasing of out books, "Where Did I Go Wrong? How Did I Miss The Signs? Dealing with Hostile Parenting and Parental Alienation" and “Broken Family Bonds: Poems and Short Stories from Victims of Parental Alienation” to help our non-profit organization continue the work it has been doing for over 10 years.
Donations, Subscriptions or the purchasing of the book can be made through either link below.
In addition, as the founder of this program and author of “Where Did I Go Wrong? How Did I Miss the Signs? Dealing with Hostile Parenting and Parental Alienation”, all proceeds from the sales of my book will be going to PAS Intervention. Thus your tax deductible contribution could just be in the purchase of my book, that you then donate to a local library or college.
