BY
MICHAELA D. MULLIS
FROM: Michaela D. Mullis
I am asking for your help in recruiting for my dissertation research on parental alienation and reconnection. I am in need of alienated parents and/or adult children who have experienced parental alienation after divorce and have since reconnected in some form or other to participate in a phone interview.
Participants will be asked to fill out a turning point graph of their parent-child relationship. Interviews can be conducted over the phone and will last about 1-2 hours.
To participate, you must be…
-18 years or older
-A biological or legal parent who was estranged from their child due to parental alienation during or after divorce
-OR an adult child aged 18+ who was estranged from their parent due to parental alienation during or after divorce
-Have reconnected or are reconnecting with your estranged parent or adult child (18+)
**please note: to participate parents must have reconnected with a child who is now 18 or older
If you are interested in participating, please complete the short survey below, or if you are a professional in this field, please consider sharing my study information and survey link with eligible clients.
If eligible, you can provide contact information at the end of the survey, and I will contact you to schedule a phone interview at your convenience. Please share this information with anyone you believe may qualify or be interested in participating.
All interview participants will receive a $10 Amazon egift card or a $10 donation to a charity.
This research should further our understanding of the alienated parent-child relationship trajectory in PA cases and highlight challenges faced in reconnecting. I greatly appreciate your time and willingness to participate or share this study.
