PAS Intervention (PASI) leads the global movement to criminalize psychological abuse in all its forms—parental alienation, custodial interference, coercive control, institutional abuse, and systemic manipulation—as prosecutable acts of violence against humanity. We champion the peer-reviewed science that proves these behaviors cause profound and lasting harm to children, parents, families, and communities. We stand on the foundational truth that the family bond—the relationship between a child and each loving parent—is sacred, and that its deliberate destruction is among the gravest harms that can be inflicted on a human being.
We actively protect and defend the researchers, clinicians, evaluators, and expert witnesses whose evidence-based work identifies and intervenes in psychological abuse—professionals who face retaliation, professional attacks, frivolous litigation, licensing complaints, and coordinated campaigns designed to silence them. We recognize that the attack on experts is an attack on victims—and ultimately an attack on families—because when the professionals who tell the truth are destroyed, abusers operate with impunity and families are denied the intervention that could restore them.
We confront the organized misinformation, junk science, and manufactured doubt that deny the existence of psychological abuse and seek to discredit the established body of peer-reviewed research. We counter false narratives with documented, evidence-based truth and hold accountable those who weaponize misinformation against families, professionals, and the courts. Every family fractured by unchecked psychological abuse represents a failure of the systems entrusted to protect them.
We support laws that protect all victims, advocate for systemic reform in every jurisdiction, and promote family preservation, reunification, and healing as central objectives of every court, agency, and institution that touches the lives of children. We work to build a world where no child is torn from a loving parent, no parent is erased from their child's life, no family is shattered by abuse disguised as protection, no individual is subjected to coercive psychological control, no expert is destroyed for telling the truth, and no abuser escapes accountability. Because every child deserves both parents, every family deserves justice, and every bond broken by abuse deserves the chance to heal.
